ENTRANCE AND EXITS OF THE COACH
- Entrance and exit doors always must be kept clear.
- No object or luggage must be left by the doors.
- Interior lights will be kept on during pick up or exit of passenger wether is day or night time.
- For more visibility, both exit and entrance doors steps In the vehicle have a painted yellow line.
EMERGENCY DOORS SWITCH
- An interior and exterior red colour switch are fit to every vehicle, some other coaches have an interior latch of the same colour placed alongside the emergency warning signs, allowing their use only for emergency cases, they facilitate the evacuation in a possible emergency that it may occur in the bus.
- In an emergency case push the buttons alongside the doors and press with force toward the exterior.
EMERGENCY EXITS
- Every vehicle has two emergency doors located in the same side of the bus, and an extra door located at the rear warning signs point to the doors indicating the EMERGENCY EXITS, all signs are visible from inside or outside the bus. Red hammers placed alongside the interior windows are to be used only during an emergency case.
- The vehicles have two different sets of windows, a single glass layer and double lazed ones. To contrast the resistance to break of double glaze windows superior angles of the window are their weakest point. Once the first window is opened you must continue to open the way with another one if required for evacuation pathways.
- In cases where all windows must be opened, please use a hammer and try not to kick the glass.
FIRE EXTINGUISERS
- In a fire emergency case, there are two extinguisers situated underneath the first two seats inmmediately behind driver and two more extinguisers located underneath first two seats by the rear door. unlock to use and pull out the lever directing spurt cannister toward the flame base, care must be taken from the smoke and fir.
- In case of fire affected passenger, cover with a blanquet or coat and do not put any extinguiser liquid over, proceed with calm and do not run. proper procedures make safer the evacuation process.
- Fire extinguisers are installed in all vehicles for safety and prevention of fire.
